Mr. Omar Almajdalawi, Humanitarian and cash Expert

Mr. Omar Almajdalawi has over 20 years of experience working with international donor-funded programmes in the UN, the World Bank and with international organisations  in the fields of humanitarian aid and recovery, LRRD,  advocacy, community resilience  and  human rights in the MENA region .

Mr. Almajdalawi has in-depth experience in designing, managing and evaluating large-scale programmes and projects and partnerships with local organisations (grants-awarded NGOs and CBOs) and multilateral organisations in conflict, crisis areas and fragile communities. He is a trainer and tutor in programme management and other technical area included but not limited to  sphere standards , accountability in humanitarian aid, disaster risk reduction and in principles of ‘do no harm’. He has extensive experience in analysing conflict settings and planning interventions accordingly.
