Dr. Patrick Mphaka has expertise in communication for social change strategies using both radio and television productions and broadcasts. He has worked intensively with governance and advocacy; private – public and civil society partnerships. Dr. Mphaka has specialized in financial inclusion strategies through village savings and loans associations, microfinancing, and savings and credit cooperatives. A key interest of his is functional adult literacy using the Regenerated Freirean Literacy through Empowering Community Technique (REFLECT) approach. Dr. Mphaka is experienced in collaborative project/programme proposal development and monitoring using the Theory of Change Online (TOCO) tool focusing on the SDGs.
Dr. Mphaka’s education background includes a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Walden University in Minnesota, USA; a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies, and a BA in Humanities from the University of Malawi.
